Since 1972, Rick Baker has been designing and crafting luxury interiors, furniture and kitchens. The team in North London carry out projects across the UK and abroad from listed estates to urban loft apartments, superyachts and island retreats. An obsessive dedication to detail, craftsmanship and material combinations define five decades of excellence in the field.

Designed, hand-crafted

The client, designer or architect has full access to their commission from concept and sketches through to manufacture. Visiting the workshop during this process gives their vision an individual touch and connection that is ultimately unique to each project. Communication and understanding of a client's objective is at the heart of any bespoke project.

Our Story

Rick Baker Ltd, established in London in 1972, offers a complete design, manufacture and installation service to private clients, interior designers and architects.

Between them, Rick Baker and Paul Morgan have many years’ experience in the bespoke furniture industry.

“We are constantly sourcing new timbers, materials and finishes to enhance our furniture, giving careful consideration to both the client’s needs and the environment that the furniture will be going in to. Our works range from individual one-off pieces to full residential fit-outs.”

Ngoni

In 2014 Rick Baker Limited was commissioned to design the interior of ‘Ngoni’ - a luxurious superyacht from Dubois Naval Architects and expertly crafted by Royal Huisman. The flowing, organic interior echoes the natural lines of the “Beast” with rich, tactile finishes used throughout.

In 2018 ‘Ngoni’ won “Best Interior” from the International Superyacht Society Awards of Distinction at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
